The Northeast Climate Justice Research Collaborative is a network for academic and community researchers in the Northeast. The Collaborative is composed of researchers who are interested in actively working to advance practices and policies to advance climate justice. Through networking, dialogue, funding, and resource-sharing, we support scholars to maximize the benefits of research for the communities they are working with.

The Toolbox Dialogue Initiative, based at Michigan State University and involving ten U.S. universities, specializes in enhancing collaborative capacity and investigating team science. They focus on improving cross-disciplinary research and knowledge production through global partnerships.

The Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition is a community-based organization that builds intergenerational leadership within Mattapan's Black and Brown community to advocate for equitable access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity.
The City of Boston is a major stakeholder in climate resilience in Massachusetts. Since 2016, the Climate Ready Boston initiative has developed and is now implementing resilience plans for the city's 47-mile coastline and addressing heat and flood risks.
