Dr. Alexander More is a Climate & Health Scientist, internationally recognized for his groundbreaking discoveries of how climate change impacts population health, ecosystems, and the economy.  He is particularly credited with resetting global standards for lead pollution through ultra-high-resolution climate, environmental and economic records, as well as identifying the environmental causes behind the spread of the Spanish Flu Pandemic. He directs research projects in public health, climate science, sustainability, and communications through ECHO. Dr. More also maintains active leadership roles in research groups at Harvard University and collaborations with the Climate Change Institute (UMaine) and the Max Planck Society (Germany).

 

Dr. More is an affiliate of the School for the Environment, and core faculty in the Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Sustainable Solutions Lab at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
